Golden Minds Independence Gifts!
From this October 2010, we are going all out on our campus community in the University of Benin, Benin City, with the Goldmine Train. We are going to be moving from one Faculty to the other to project our vision for Nigeria like never before! This will involve an empowering talk and an insightful interactive session, with side attractions such as performances.
Also, our Golden Foundation meeting is to kick-off again on campus in UNIBEN this Oct 30!
We are also focusing on leadership training and capacity building for the leaders and members at the Leadership and Builders’ Foundation levels respectively. Join us!
Welcome to the webblog of Golden Minds Nigeria! The moment you entered our blog, the gold in you is now at your fingertips! With Golden Minds, whatever your mind conceives, and believes, you can achieve. We are a growing body of Nigerian youths passionate about being Nigeria’s change. If the youths world over are truly the greatest asset of any nation, we believe that the Nigerian youth must wake up to the call today!
With a true leadership spirit, a self-empowered mind, a patriotic heart and daring and visionary eyes for nation-building, which Golden Minds stimulates and supports, the future of our nation would be in greater, safer and golden hands. We believe in getting involved by being the much-needed change we desire, and not just asking for change. We believe in using our minds as the greatest asset to achieve that change. We believe in the future of this great nation because we are the future! In Golden Minds, we dream big but we have started small; and this is what great dreams are made of!
In our Internet forum, we provide a platform where Nigerian youths can get involved and evolve changes.
Positively changing the mindsets of our youths, exchanging ideas with like-minds, discovering, developing and projecting potentials, building the leadership spirit, reaching-out and working with partners through partners, brainstorming on change-driven initiatives, and staying in touch with all Goldenminds out there are some of the group activities we encourage and support. Together, we can leverage on our golden mindset to make the golden impact. We must realise that as youths we have everything it takes to make Nigeria one of the greatest countries in the world. If we can dream it, we can achieve it because the greatest asset we need is not oil, not blood, but our minds! With our minds we have the right to have a dream, and this is the only one thing we all have at no price.
Since we celebrated our fifth anniversary in July 2009, our new focus, based on our experiences since we started as a circle of passionate and patriotic Nigerian youths, is the individual Goldenmind – you!
When you as an individual know what it takes to rebuild our nation, we help you with the things you need to get it done. Our golden pillars have been built to give you solid support upon which you can stand firm to think about what you can do for Nigeria and start doing it by being the change that you think about for your country.
In the renewed Golden Minds, your individual mind is challenged and built to practically become a national asset with a refined value. Because you are selflessly committed, your destiny systematically becomes the destiny of your beloved Nigeria, and the destiny of Nigeria becomes tied with yours. And since you strongly believe in yourself no matter the daunting challenges that you might face, your faith in Nigeria solid. With Golden Minds, your golden mind becomes a national resource that everyone will want to tap into – like the rush for oil in the old Nigeria you are about to live behind when you join us with just a click (link join us) away! Know more about us and be a Goldenmind by being the change! Join us today!

Nigeria today, is a blessing in disguise because it avails every Golden Mind, the opportunity to make history. There are so many good to do than evil. Even you can make History. what ever your hands find to do concerning this vision, do it well.

For us, Nigeria is a reflection of Nigerians. If we do not change individually, how can the nation change? We believe that we are not the “leaders of tomorrow” but the leaders of today, because just yesterday today was tomorrow. The future is now!
So if there is any time to be the change that is desired, that time is now! If there is any time to be one of the most industralised economies of the world in 2020, that time is now! If there is any time to be part of our golden vision of making Nigeria a golden land with your golden mind, that time to join us is now!

In the same sense that J.F. Kennedy puts it, we need to think not about what Nigeria can do for us but what we can do for Nigeria. In other words, your organisation, Golden Minds, has been largely individualised. This is because without the living dreams of Nigerians like you and us, Nigeria is practically dead!

Let’s not b too concerned about what we can get 4rm our country, but let’s think on what we can contribute 2 change our country. It starts with our attitude. We can make Nigeria a better place for all.
